Racechip is known for producing a variety of piggyback tunes. On the Porsche 718 9A2B4 platform flash tuning is available. So why opt for the Racechip GTS Black box at $799? That is a good question especially considering if going the piggyback route BMS is well established with their JB4 line and a better value.

Does the Racechip GTS box make power? Yes, but also keep in mind this is not an independent test but from someone with a Cayman that is selling Racechip GTS boxes. That does not mean the gains are not accurate it just means be aware there is a financial component involved here:

That torque gain of 65 lb-ft at the wheels tune only is definitely going to be felt. Also keep in mind these are Dynocom (tends to read high) results.

Certainly a nice improvement for just the addition of the tuning box. Would we recommend it? Well, in the opinion of PorscheBoost there are better options on the platform.
