    • Eurocharged/Spool performance top 800+ lb-ft of wtq from factory turbo W212 M157 E63 AMG on ethanol

Mercedes-AMG had one distinctive advantage in the previous generation tuning wars. Displacement. The M157 5.5 liter V8 may not be the highest revver but it provided plenty of brute force and in turn torque down low. Look at these Dynojet figures below.

This is from a W212 Mercedes-AMG E63 running dual @spoolperformance M157 FX-150 upgraded HPFP's tuned by Jerry at Eurocharged on an E60 ethanol blend:

Yes, you read that correctly. 828 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.

There are other M157 applications being tuned on full E85 with these upgraded fuel pumps including built motor and turbo upgraded applications. BenzBoost will post details on those as soon as we are allowed to.

It seems the M157 still has plenty to show.

Most likely tuned that way to put less stress on the drivetrain.

I hope you can post more information about the E85 fuel pump and the built motors. I'm curious to find out how they work around the TCU limitations.
