      Great work here from Protomotive on a 991.2 Porsche Carrera 9A2B6 3.0 belonging to PorscheBoost Porsche Performance Forums member @Rcr48s. This is the same car that recently set the 60-130 record on the 991.2 9A2B6 3.0 platform.


      The 911 Carrera features the full TiAL product suite:

      TiAL M660 Turbos

      TiAL Intercoolers
      TiAL Inlets
      TiAL Plenum
      Driver Source Water-Meth System

      He could add headers and an exhaust to eek out some more but this is plenty of power and torque:


      That is a much better looking power and torque curve than stock with far more top end punch. This recipe is good for ~250+ whp over stock depending on the fuel and tuning.

      This is also much more power than a 991.2 Carrera S or even a tuned 991.2 GTS for readers who have those models wondering if they too could benefit from a hybrid turbo upgrade.

      For perspective, this is a 991.2 GTS with a Cobb pro tune, Vektor headers, and AMS intercoolers:


      Going to the ~600 wheel horsepower range on the TiAL M660's is about where one should keep it for reliability purposes. Beyond this the PDK and the manual transmission as well becomes a question mark.

      As the 60-130 of 6.5 seconds shows, this makes the 991.2 Carrera quick enough to comfortably outrun a Ferrari 488 GTB (6.9) seconds.

      We will see some great results on the platform in 2020 now that tuning is catching up to the hardware.
