    • B9 S5 sets EA839 1/4 mile record with 10.5@134 pass - JB4 tuned Pure Stage 2 Audi S5

      Now we are starting to cook with gas! Take a look at this very impressive Audi B9 S5 1/4 mile pass from an S5 EA839 3.0 with the Pure Turbos Stage 2 hybrid turbo upgrade. The car managed to hit 10.585 @ 134.39 miles per hour.


      This is now the overall B9 S5 1/4 mile record but also the overall EA839 engine platform record until someone tops it:


      The mods are a JB4 tune with Pure Turbos Stage 2 turbocharger and a BMS meth kit. The car is factory weight and on the factory wheels and tires.

      Very impressive and congratulations to all involved on the record.

        Wow. Now this is getting interesting. I'm curious how the bottom end and transmission will hold up at this level. Funnily enough, a Pure turbos Rs5 posted something like a 124mph trap speed earlier today. The S4/5 might shape up to be the winner from both the potential and value perspective at the rate this is going.

        Got a link for that? I'd be curious. I see TTE has a turbo upgrade for the RS5 that's supposed to support the 7XX range of HP but I don't think the supporting mods/tuning is there yet.

        Like you mentioned, probably an issue with lack of tuning.

        S5 pure turbo and JB4 out traps an RS5 pure turbo jb4 by 10mph....lmao

        On the RS5 the result is not really representative with what it can achieve. A outside tuner did that car and they got carried away with boost and from 4th the ECU shut the throttle and cut boost out. I also think its compressor wheel only on the turbo.

        The car is map sensor limited and its a digital SENT sensor. By the looks of things stacked cars are going to be the way to go.
        There is a flashed hybrid car done by one of the best in the game and stripped out its running slightly slower lower exits due to this limitation.
