    • Bolt on McLaren 720S vs. ES850 tuned Porsche 991.1 Turbo S top end run

Being able to handle a McLaren 720S is the measure of a fast car today. This McLaren 720S certainly is fast but it is also not a stock example as it is tuned with software and downpipes. Output is claimed to be a relatively modest ~740 rear wheel horsepower.

The 991.1 Turbo S features the ESMotor ES850 package with horsepower in the 838 to the wheels range. The Porsche has more power but also carries another ~400 pounds.

As for what the 991.1 Turbo S runs:

They run 40-170 and the 720S takes round 1 by a couple of cars. The second run shows the Porsche get a better start and it is closer.

      Two very stout cars here.

Like other 720S videos ive seen, the 720S looked unstable, it looked like it was on the verge of fishtailing out of control.

The lightweight body is great for power to weight ratio but doesn't help stability.

Every RWD car that makes above 600whp will do that when pushing it under 60mph.
