    • Weistec shows massive gains on a Mercedes-AMG GLC63 AMG with M177 ECU tune - +152whp, 262wtq

These Weistec tune numbers are astounding. Obviously the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 with its M177 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 is a tuner's delight but even BenzBoost is having trouble understanding why the gains here are so massive.

There are not too many GLC63 AMG dynographs to go on but plenty of other M177 powered AMG's to go on. A baseline of 339 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of wheel torque seems very, very low on what is usually a friendly reading dynamometer:

This one may be calibrated quite differently as even the tuned figures are quite low compared to other M177's.

What you need to focus on is the delta as whatever the figures may be in relation to other dyno types the gains over the baseline are all that matter.

Those gains are astonishing. They pick up on 93 octane pump gas 152 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. The peak figures respectively are 491 wheel horsepower and 545 lb-ft of wheel torque.

The GLC63 certainly is one of the best performance SUV's on the market combining brute force with a relatively light curb weight at least compared to other twin turbo V8 SUV's on the market.

I have a slip for the car. It's definitely a torque monster. Impressive ET.
