I liked ISO 15 better than 15B. I am on 15C now which is an alpha firmware though. I like it a lot, just uses quite a bit of gas using it the way I have it configured.

The only other thing not mentioned (besides check settings on n54tech.com for G5) is that there may be some minor harness change if you have a harness from 2010 or earlier I can't remember what exactly.

if you're not running it already, the G5 is AWESOME compared to the G4 for e85 use. Probably one of the best e85 solutions out there right now from a performance standpoint.

the first thing you should do before anything is to change the wiring harness:

    http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showpo...57&postcount=1

then if it is used to cut the g5 iso diodes and load the last hex

    http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17441

I hope it will be helpful

I'm still running 11C LOL, but only because it didn't feel much different than 15, and that I get substantially better steady state cruising gas mileage with 11C. But I agree, 15 worked better for my car than 15B.

Congrats on your purchase! Yes, if you specified ISO it will come with the diodes cut and ISO firmware already loaded onto the board. The only thing you might need to do is update it to the latest software. It is literally plug and play with your G4 harness, as long as you bought it within the last year (I believe). I bought my G4 in June of this year and upgraded to the G5 ISO and it was plug and play.

And yes 15B is the latest version. Check this link for ISO updates and bookmark it:

perfect, lets hope my g4 harness is good to go.. I will definetly post again once I install it.. seems like there is so much new stuff to play with ie lagfix on the go and I can't wait to see how the car drives.. From all my research seems like this G5 ISO board/firmware is the future of JB4 and makes the car drive very very smooth.. Im guessing thats the isolated boost.

11C was very good. I think 13b3 also. 15C also good, but it combined lagfix and boost build position into one variable so it uses a lot of gas at the moment if you want performance.

Now that it is already open for install, its cheap insurance to check. I don't think there is a better way around it. You other option is to start the car, drive it, and see if you get a wastegate fault, but that could be more work since you would then have to open the box up and do this all over again.

I don't mind sharing them either, the problem is settings change and you forget how it was supposed to be set up. Also typically the newer ones are better with experimental changes inbetween.
