    catback exhaust--extended warranties

will the powers that be void your warranty for running a cat back exhaust system?

on a side note, anyone running Agency Power's system and trip the check engine light?

Catback shouldn't trip a CEL or void your warranty.

    +1

Although, i have heard of some dealers being dicks about a CBE. If your going in for a free set of turbos, then i would recommend taking it off. Otherwise, i dont think its a big deal, most dealers will ignore it.

Only way you'll trigger a CEL is if you go from OEM cats to Catless (without a tune or o2 Sim).... Some Service Dept's hate mods, others don't mind unless it contributed to a problem (blown turbos, DME short circuit, etc)

To be more specific, if you remove the primary OEM cats you will get a CEL. If you go CBE, that just removes the secondaries and you will not throw a CEL. Pretty sure that's right, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
