Yes... Yes.... Yes! The HPF hood is now on full throttle. We met up w/ the guys at Advance Composite Systems today to talk about how we are now ready to go full speed on getting this hood manufactured. Meeting up with Advanced Composite Systems yesterday, we had a pleasure to watch the master Art Director Kris draw the version of the hood we wanted from scratch. All he needed was a description, a pencil, and a blank sheet of paper.

This might not be the final version as well. The hood will be tweaked here and there... but just know, this was how it all started.

That was a pretty cool video, these guys know what they are doing. Damn that's a lot of artwork to get a design down...

we are not, going w/ a recessed middle portion so that it helps with downforce

and @Leo9851, currently we will be making it for the E46 M3, then aiming for other BMW platforms for sure. But we will see how the response is after this hood first.

Creating the perfect hood can be very time consuming. We are striving to create a design that would appeal to the masses. We do listen to your feedback, comment, and input. We are creating this hood for YOU.

So version 2 of our hood design took some of those inputs. Let us know what you think. What would you want to see? What would you change? Give us your input and we'll listen. We are definitely eager to have this rolling in production.

Looks cool, the vents are a little big for my taste but I'll reserve judgement until the final product arrives.

As mentioned, we listen to feedback from our customers. The Power Dome, found in the oem style M3 hoods seem to be one feature everyone would want. To keep a “stock” look, we decided to keep that dome, but definitely make it better. We decided to raise it up just a tad bit, give it a more aggressive feel to our hood, which in turn only makes our hood a lot more stiffer.

The sketching is getting finalized as small details are ironed out. This clip here, this vent at this angle, this support to be this tall... small things that will tailor our hood to be different and better than the others.

The HPF Carbon Fiber Hood is now enroute. It'll be hitting the CNC machine for a mold very soon. First stage in creating that mold is what is showcased in this video. It's still a bit far till we see the final product, but progress is definitely being made.
