Im trying to find a parts breakdown to see if I have the bolts and necessary hardware. Do you have the stock intake on your car? I believe there's 4 bolts that hold the box in place but my afe has 4 but possibly in a different location. I'm not sure though because my car never had the factory intake. Just afe stage 1 and now the stage 2. "

I don't need the entire plenum. Just need the air box the filter sits in, all the mounting hardware to install the factory air box, and that's it. I already have the elbow, I can reuse the one from my afe, and a new filter as well. "

Vac idk, from a dealer it would be expensive. Be a lot easier and cheaper to grab one from a member who has one sitting around. I only need it since I just ordered rpi scoops. Doesn't work so well with the afe. "

" I am pretty sure when VW bought out Porsche, they also paid off all of Porsche's debt which should have included the investors who lost quite a bit of money. I remember when Porsche finally decided to join the VAG that they would do so debt free. "

" Crazy how they adopted the engine design from BMW. Designing the exhaust in the interior of the engine is going to prove to be a huge benefit for the future. This thing is impressive and the Chris Harris review definitely touched a lot of great points. "

They are whoring it more I agree. But, let's not be blind to the fact that BMW has done this since day 1. "

It's probably easier to get track numbers. Atco for instance is open 3 nights a week for TNT. No need to adjust tire pressure if you can drive. You can break a lot on a dyno as well. Less likely sure, but it happens. Forget launching, slip th clutch a little and launch. That will get you an ideal trap and you will know where you stand. Not to mention dynos have a lot of variables as do tracks, bu trap speeds ar 9/10 times more consistent between different tracks. More consistent than dynos I mean. Cheaper too. $70 vs $20. "

One would believe so but, .33 for the F10 M5 and .31 (sport autos figures) or .34 (GM's actual figures). Fairly close in comparison. Don't forget the Z06 has a massive frontal area.

Yes, I am fairly certain. I hang around some very popular LSx forums and it's quite noticeable. I am talking bolt on vs stock and the stockers are still pulling the bolt on cars. I haven't cared to watch any dyno videos for more proof, but the videos I have seen with good drivers, the newer model always wins. Not to mention the track time differences. But, that's a whole different argument as there is a lot of suspension and tire differences.
