• Audi's gasoline variant SQ5 with the 3.0 TFSI officially announced - 354 horsepower supercharged V6 SUV, coming to USA

Here it is officially is, the Audi SQ5 3.0 TFSI. In November of last year AudiBoost reported thanks to a leak that this variant would be coming and the details were completely correct. A 354 horsepower 3.0 TFSI motor which offers a bit more horsepower than the European only SQ5 3.0 TDI diesel variant which offers 313 horses. Unlike the diesel variant though, this SQ5 will be coming to the United States thankfully.

The 354 horses and 346 pound-feet of torque are fed through an 8-speed automatic to all four wheels. Bodywork is more aggressive and 20 inch wheels are standard. Combined with a lower ride height and the SQ5 looks very, very good and far more aggressive than the standard Q5.

With the SQ5 officially confirmed that leaves an upcoming RS SUV coming that is unaccounted for. Will it be an RSQ5 or the RSQ3? Likely the latter but one thing is certain, an RS SUV is coming.

Looks good. Can't wait to see the RS version, even if its only on the Q3.

It likely will be the Q3 which is fine with me as long as it comes to the USA.
