Good run sir... Looks like the Mustang was on a stock suspension and spun pretty good out the hole. You held him off for sure. I'd like to see you two from a roll as well.

actually hes not on stock suspension, i forget what he said it was though.

i dunno, he didnt seem too concerned and actually a bit scared to run me once it was going on video. He is in philly though, so it could happen, i just didnt think its his "thing".

No doubt.. If it happen it happens. He's likely scared of your top end I would assume. I've got a lot of respect for those coyotes, they can move with a good driver and a few mods. I've learned the hard way..

I think i had some 95 octane left in the tank, I dont recall since last I drove the car. But Meth was off as I thought it was cold enough to see what it had. I probably should have kept it on by the 1/8 mile mph and lackluster 1/4 mph

Im also on stock X again. Sorry guys, its quieter and a tone I like more, but its robbing me MPH, so im going back to mean and nasty..

I ran 123.7mph the run before this, But I dont know if its artificial from the $#@!ty 60's I have again (2.1) even on Drag Radials. @Mike@VAC is correct in that we need a lineloc to do proper burnouts. This is on my list now..

Its crazy though that my ET is STILL sitting the same, 11.8/9 even with a huge flux of mph difference (119-123)

The mph improvement could also be because I think it was -1300 DA

That was actually the best run for the Stang, the 2 runs before he was 11.9@117.

LM - you don't need line lock with DR's. yes, I have it but have found its not needed. Ill show you how to launch next week. Your leaving almost a half second off your ET not using launch control

If mdm on and drag radials cant keep a 1.9, i doubt LC will do better. I was cutting 1.9s consistantly until lastnight and the frozen ground. Im all ears, but dont think its gonna help much with out a proper burnout

Your wasting your time with mdm! Trust me... I hold the record for a non intercooled blown m3. I ran 1.7's all day long with my 535 and still do with my 625. I'll give you some tips...

Nice run, seems kinda slow for the 5.0 then again who knows what his tune is. However you mentioning he had 117 runs is pretty bad being that basic cars are hitting that.

Blown 5.0 running more boost neck and neck with a blown non-intercooled M3 running less boost. Heh, sure looks like the DCT and the S65 are doing just fine yet somehow people call the M3 weak yet a Mustang with a bigger motor AND a blower that is pushing more air barely edges a non-intercooled M3 not running as strongly as it could be. I find it amusing personally.

A lot of comparisons have been made between the 5.0 Mustang and the M3 despite these being cars appealing to different demographics. The M3 being the benchmark of its class and a more expensive vehicle so it should surprise nobody that Ford aspires to compare against the best. What is surprising however is that this Mustange 5.0 running a Roush supercharger pushing 9 psi of boost has its hands more than full with a DCT M3 running an entry level non-intercooled supercharger kit with only 6 psi of boost.

In the video the M3 takes the race but the timeslips show the Mustang was quicker and slightly faster (reaction time is a large factor in a race). The M3 with its smaller motor is able to take the race thanks to its quicker shifting transmission and higher redline. The owner of the M3 switched his exhaust setup which is costing him about a mile per hour of trap speed so we can call this one a draw. Pretty interesting considering the smaller motor and non-intercooled supercharger running low boost.

The video makes it evident the M3 is making more efficient use of its power. No surprise thanks to the higher redline allowing shorter gearing and the transmission providing much quicker shifts.
